Evergreen trees were not designed to be indoor houseplants, so please follow the advice below if you want to keep your tree alive for planting later. They can also be lovingly composed after the Holidays, if the pressure proves to be too great.

• Bright light and cool air are optimal, as long as you avoid warm air returns. Place them near window, or on an unheated sun porch until your party.
• Water your baby Norway Spruce tree regularly. Many people use ice cubes to deliver a slow hydration and cool the roots down.
• After the party, water your tree and transition it to the outside with increasing periods of exposure over several days. The first winter, it’s best to keep it in a protected spot away from the worst of the winter winds or use a frost blanket to create a shelter for it.
