Heirloom. Roots are nearly round with purple tops and white bottoms. The Purple Top White Globe Turnip will grow to almost the size of a rutabaga, but better young. Flavor is very ”turnipy”. Plant seeds 1/4 inch deep and 3 inches apart as soon as the ground can be worked and continue throughout the season.
