Indoors, Caladium loves bright sunlight but not direct. Outdoors Caladium prefers shade with a bit of morning sun and shade for the rest of the day. Or plant in moist locations in dappled sunlight. Too much light will cause the vibrant colors to fade and the leaf edges to brown. During their growing season, these plants like their rich well-draining soil to be kept evenly moist but never soggy.
